Jirair Kiladjian, co-founder and designer of Supreme Jewelry, has been perfecting his craft as a diamond setter and designer for the last quarter- century. Kiladjian’s jewelry experience was gained by osmosis-family members including his grandfather, uncles and cousins, which all have a distinguished jewelry background. From 1968 to 1977, Kiladjian traveled abroad from Lebanon, Europe, Canada to a permanent home in Los Angeles. “At the point, I had worked for many reputable design companies in the industry abroad, and the next step was to start my own jewelry line,” Kiladjian says. “I followed the baguette-set craze that was building at the time, and began creating my own designs in a French style.” In 1989, he took the company to the next level when he formed Supreme Jewelry with a partner.
